About
The past 6 years of steady freelance work have been an amazing time of growth, allowing me to hone my writing and design skills, sharpen my ability to manage multiple projects and timelines at once and initiate and build strong client relationships.
Prior to becoming a freelance writer, I worked as a corporate trainer for Ingram Micro, an international Fortune 50 computer distributor. Cutting my teeth under the leadership of an industry giant was an invaluable experience. Meeting and exceeding the high expectations demanded within the organization prepared me to take on any task with confidence, utilizing my creative problem solving abilities to effectively manage projects on time and under budget, develop comprehensive curriculum for all levels of the corporate hierarchy and deliver state-of-the-art trainings to over 300 associates in North and Latin America.
In 2003, I took on the challenge of ghostwriting for a well-known and widely respected integrative medical doctor. Within the 5 years that I worked for her, we published nearly 80 health articles in several print magazines, wrote a comprehensive healthy lifestyle book, created lectures that were given worldwide and grew a small supplement business into an internationally recognized brand within the alternative medicine community.
I have had the great fortune of utilizing my creative design skills for a variety of clients, including Beyond the MDs, International Medical Concepts & Protocols, Henderer Design + Build, American Construction, Lainey Dyer Photography and Apple Blossom Photography. Whether creating an entire brand identity package or a simple print ad, I tackle creative challenges with excitement and determination. The job is not done until the client is happy!
